Almond butter, Banana Oatmeal

A hearty breakfast that will satisfy a person easily until noon.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
2 1/3 cup water
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 banana, sliced
1/3 cup almond or rice milk
1/2 teaspoon vegan margarine

Yield: 2-4 Servings

RECIPE

Combine the oatmeal, water and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add the almond butter, banana, milk and margarine and mix gently. Cook for another minute and serve.

Peanut butter can be used in place of Almond butter
