Water

Drink plenty of water during the day - at least 8 cups

Eating just one type of food can lead to nutritional deficiencies and hunger cravings. Try to eat a balanced diet

Rome was not built in a day

Don’t try to lose your weight gain in a short period of time. It is better to lose the weight with changes in habits over a period of time so that the weight will stay off because you have made real changes in your eating habits.

Ceremonial eating

Eat sitting down with no distractions. Don’t web surf, read or eat while doing another task. And above all, TASTE your food. It tells your brain that you have eaten and are satisfied. Think of it as taste per calorie.

Throw out the junk food

Reduce the whites - sugar, flour and salt

Movement

I like the rebounder. It flushes your lymphatic system and strengthens your core.

Eat often

Don’t get hungry as it leads to over eating. Have little snacks, I enjoy a few grapes throughout the day as well as a few almonds.

Once a week fall off the wagon

Plan on having one day where you enjoy whatever you are missing in your diet - desserts, etc.
